The Gordon Sinclair Award for Broadcast Journalism goes to Simcha Jacobovici

I’m getting Mazel Tovs and high fives from far and near. The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has just announced that I will be receiving the prestigious Gordon Sinclair Award for Broadcast Journalism at the next Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday, March 12, 2017. The award is the highest honour in Canadian Television Journalism for a body of consistent work. It’s given by one’s peers. Icons of Canadian Television Journalism have received it. I am both humbled and grateful.
